Continued collaboration with the BCU Fribourg

At the end of June 2022, a second collaboration between the RISM Digital Center and BCU Fribourg started. The BCU Fribourg has now held for several years the (non-)musical collection of the Musicological Institute of Fribourg, the oldest scientific music institute in Switzerland. This collection will be catalogued and inventoried and it is expected that there will be some sources content-related from the predecessor project “Ebaz”. The project should thus on one hand complete the old project and on the other hand shed light on the history of the musicological institute of Fribourg, some sources even stem from the ownership of former professors. The completion of the inventory and the cataloguing of this collection is expected to last until mid-2025.
