CD 'From Bologna to Beromünster' with Op. 36 by Maurizio Cazzati

RISM Switzerland is proud to announce the issue of a new CD in co-production. The work recorded here for the first time is the Messa e Salmi Op. 36 by Maurizio Cazzati. It was preserved at the end of the 17th century in the Collegiate church of Beromünster. Unfortunately this copy has since been lost.

Our aim – by means of our database as well as of the CD – is to attract the attention of the public on the innumerable forgotten musical treasures from times past and encourage musicians and music lovers to rediscover a lesser-known repertoire. The performes are the ensemble Voces Suaves conducted by Francesco Saverio Pedrini. The recording is on distribution with the label Claves since 4 March.
